Recycling Expo UK
With the new RECOMOVER® and RECOLINE® range of machinery, OMMI is at the forefront of the most advanced technologies for recovering post-consumer clothing textiles.
With RECOMOVER®, it is possible to mechanically put out without damaging the fiber’ structure, accessories from clothing such as buttons, zippers, tags (as in jeans), etc., on meanwhile with RECOLINE®, the textile fibers present in clothing fabrics are recovered with significant advantages over traditional mechanical recycling systems such as shredding/tearing.
The RECOLINE® defibration process reduces the amount of fiber fragmentation present in fabrics, which constitutes the filtered dust and therefore waste, while preserving the length of the fibers as much as possible: an essential factor for any subsequent ring- or open-end spinning process. However, even for the nonwovens sector, and in particular for spunlacing technologies, those results allow for improved uniformity, mechanical strength, and resistance to water pressure.
Nowadays, in the post-consumer sector, with the electronic sorting of used garments and their separation by fiber type (pure or blended), it is a significant advantage and greater economic value to operate with a process that best respects the technical aspects of textile fibers: turning low-value waste into new raw material ready for a new industrial cycle.
Meet us by our booth n. JJ50 on 7-8 oct. 2025 at UK Recycling exhibition of London
